Are you the one we are looking for?
- Recent Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Business, Computer Science (or similar) Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD graduate
- You finished your university studies no longer than 1 year ago
- Interested in IT and have a passion for healthcare
- Experience with leading a project and/or leadership role in a student’ s club or a similar initiative
- Very good level of English language (other language is an advantage)
- At least 1 internship/part time job in a related field
- You are a European Union citizen, a lawful permanent resident of Czech Republic or otherwise authorized to work in Czech Republic without requiring sponsorship

How do we hire?

FAQs for the IT Emerging Talent Rotational Program
What will the recruitment process look like this year?
You can apply until February 28. Use the application form to send your CV and motivation letter in English expressing your interest in the ETR program.
We will conduct interviews between January and March through MS Team application.
In March, selected candidates who match the ETR profile will be invited to a Panel interview to meet our senior leadership. We will send you several business-related topics to choose from prior to the interview. At the panel interview, you will have the opportunity to introduce yourself and make a brief presentation on the chosen topic.
We will let you know the results no later than at the end of April.
The best candidates will receive the offer to join the ETR program and will start on July 1st, 2025
When will I find out what my first rotation is?
You will receive a catalogue of possible rotations in May and you will be asked to choose three positions you would prefer as your first, one-year rotation. We will help you with your decision. You will be invited to the ETR onboarding session with all our current ETRs where you can ask questions about MSD divisions or specific positions.
In June, you will meet with the managers of your preferred rotations and based on your and the managers’ feedback we will choose your first rotation.
How does rotation-matching and final placement work?
Prior to your starting and before the end of each of your rotations, we work with IT teams and leaders to identify opportunities based on business needs. A matching process then follows based on skills required and your interests to determine your final placement.
Can I stay in my rotation if I like it?
The program is a 2-year commitment. The purpose of the ETR program is to give you a breadth of experience and exposure to the IT organization. Therefore, you will be required to change teams and projects as part of this program.
What are rotation managers?
Rotation managers provide you with your projects and with day-to-day guidance on those projects and any MSD-related expenses you incur during your assignment. Assignment supervisors change with each rotation. You will also report to them in our system for the time of your rotation.
Who is the ETR Program Manager?
Eliška Šedivá is the ETR program leader in Prague. She will assign you to your side project and other local and global ETR projects. The IT Talent Enablement team also organizes many development and networking activities for the ETRs and ETR Alumni.
How many other ETRs will be in my cohort?
For the class 2025, there are 20 ETRs. You will find out more about them throughout the onboarding process.
What are my benefits?

How do I set up my health insurance?
Health insurance is included in your benefits as an MSD employee. This topic will be covered in-depth during onboarding.
What kind of company-wide teams/clubs are there?
There are several Employee Business Resource Groups (EBRGs) available company-wide, as well as clubs and groups to join at each location. You will find out more about this during onboarding. These groups have been created by employees, who run many interesting events, initiatives and networking activities that you can join.
What other future-talent initiatives does MSD have?
Our team also manages the Internship program for students of Czech universities, and one of the EBRGs is Next Generation Network that connects generations in MSD.
